Karnival Pendidikan Sinar Bestari to sharpen students' interests in formal education

SHAH ALAM - Karnival Pendidikan Sinar Bestari, an education carnival organised by Sinar Karangkraf Group, is set to sharpen students' interests in formal education.

The carnival, which will be held on Aug 12 and 13 at the Ideal Convention Centre in Shah Alam, will feature a variety of activities, including science experiments, robotics competitions, and art workshops.

Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Damansara Jaya 1 headmaster Jamali Said said that the carnival would provide students with an opportunity to learn in a fun and informal environment.

"Students crave knowledge that is done in a happy environment such as this.

"The informal surroundings compared to a classroom would be able to aid them in gaining knowledge quicker," he said.

Also present were Sinar Karangkraf Group CEO Farah Hussamuddin and Sinar Harian Group Chief Editor Zamri Rambli.

SK Saujana Impian 2, Kajang headmaster Sazlina Mohd Sheriff said that the carnival would also be a great opportunity for students to discover new talents.

"Sometimes students are shy and lack the confidence to stand out or show their talents.

"However, with the multitude of activities organised in the carnival, I think it will give motivation and spirit towards students wanting to continue gaining knowledge," she said.

Sazlina said that she plans to send students from her school to the carnival.

"Students must come to the carnival because indirectly they stand to gain something new and it could be used for their future careers," she said.
