SHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional Youth Deputy Head, Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal has filed a police report against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi for alleged 'financial offers' to Terengganu Youth Council and the state's motorcycle team.
Wan Fayhsal, the Machang MP said the actions of Anwar and Zahid should be investigated as potential bribery.
"In a statement, Zahid urged Terengganu's youth to join the 'Gelombang Biru dan Merah' movement."
"As well as Anwar's actions abusing executive power by handing over enforcement agencies to a politically motivated investigation dedicated to PN leaders," he stated on Twitter, today.
On July 30, the Rural and Regional Development ministry approved a RM100,000 grant for the Central Association of Youth Development Authority Terengganu Tengah (Ketengah) to expand their activities in Terengganu.
Zahid said the grant amount may increase depending on the group's performance in the state election scheduled for August 12.
Wan Fayhsal said it is crucial for the police to investigate these individuals to ensure that government officials do not violate state legislation.
"Rise up, fellow Malaysians and save our country from the kakistocracy," he exclaimed.
Kakistocracy refers to a term where a country is ruled or controlled by the least qualified and most unprincipled.
