"He kept twisting his words,” said Sanusi after filing his candidacy for the Jeneri state seat to contest in the August 12 polls at the nomination center here today.
The incumbent who will be defending his seat against Barisan Nasional’s Datuk Muhamad Khizri Abu Kassim, also needles on Saifuddin’s dubious use of the Immigration Department for a political campaign in Langkawi, yesterday.
"Yesterday, he campaigned in Langkawi using the Immigration Department.
"He checked in a hotel, I know... (they booked) 15 rooms.
"You can't hold a programme for the party using a government agency, that is wrong,” claimed Sanusi, who implored Saifuddin to explain his alleged abuse of power.
Sanusi is currently being probed by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission over the REE illegal mining that happened in Bukit Enggang, here, in January.
So far, a total of 10 former state excos have been called into questioning by the graft buster.
