SHAH ALAM - Bayan Baru MP Sim Tze Tzin has revealed that the late Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub had a habit of forgiving all his enemies and those who hurt him before going to sleep.
Tze Tzin said that this practice made Salahuddin always content and cheerful daily.
"He told me that he would forgive all those who had wronged him before going to sleep, and that this helped him to sleep soundly at night.
"He was a very kind and forgiving person," said Tze Tzin in a Facebook post yesterday.
Salahuddin, who was also the Pulai MP and the State Assemblyman for Simpang Jeram, passed away at 9.23pm yesterday at Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital (HSB) in Alor Setar, Kedah.
He had been rushed to the HSB emergency ward at 10.15pm on Friday night after experiencing nausea and vomiting before being confirmed to have a brain hemorrhage by specialist doctors.
Tze Tzin, who was formerly the deputy to the late Salahuddin in the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry, said that he had visited his former boss in the hospital on Sunday evening and cried all the way back from Alor Setar to Penang.
