SAN FRANCISCO, US - Tony Bennett, the renowned American singer, died at the age of 96 in New York, United States on Friday.
San Franciscans gathered in front of the statue of Tony Bennett, located outside of the Fairmont Hotel, to pay tribute to the iconic singer, Anadolu Agency reported.
"I Left My Heart in San Francisco" was played, accompanied by a violin performance by Rose Crelli, in memory of the singer.
Fairmont Hotel spokesperson Michelle Heston said, "We share decades of partnership with Tony Bennett and his family. We will continue to honor this partnership and his homage to our great city."
