KUALA LUMPUR - Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil conveyed his condolences to the family of the president of the Film Directors Association of Malaysia (FDAM) Ahmad Ibrahim, better known as Mat London who died of lung infection today.
Fahmi, in a Facebook post, prayed that the deceased's family would remain strong facing the test.
"May his soul be blessed and placed among the righteous,” he said.
The news of the passing of Mat London, who is also an actor and director, was shared by his son Salmany Akir Ahmad, 42, who confirmed that his father breathed his last at about 5.57 this morning, at the age of 74 after being admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Kuala Lumpur Hospital since June 16.
He said his father’s remains will be brought to the Al-Mardhiyah Mosque Taman Melawati this morning and will be buried at the Muslim Cemetery in Kampung Klang Gate, Taman Melawati after Friday prayers. - BERNAMA
