Mohd Zuhdi urged parties not to make 3R issues campaign material

SHAH ALAM - Biggest issue in the Malaysia is race base voter polarisation which has been proven in the previous elections, says Pas council committee member.

Dr Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki said this shows racial unity in Malaysia between races in Borneo and Peninsular Malaysia is facing a problem.

"There needs to be a solution and I believe Pas has an approach," he told Sinar Daily.

He urged parties not make the race, religion and royalty (3R) issues as a political campaign material because it encourages such polarisation.

"Our politicians should make sure there’s no polarisation of the voting and that there is no campaign with excessivestress 3R issues,” he said.

Today, cops summoned Kedah Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor for his statements that allegedly berated the Selangor Sultan.

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said investigation papers on the 3R issue have been opened following this on Wednesday.
