KOTA BHARU - The Kelantan police say they have not receive any reports on the claim that a student's teacher bit him on the lip after the incident going viral last Sunday.
State Police Chief Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun said checks from every district police chief shows no report had been received.
"I requested the mother of the student to visit the nearby police station. If the mother wants to pursue legal action, she should have filed a police report," he said during a press conference held today at the Kelantan Police Headquarters.
Yesterday, Sinar Harian reported that the mother of a student who was allegedly bitten by a teacher expressed concern at the latest situation of her son who is experiencing unstable emotions and lack of appetite.
He claimed that the six-year-old child frequently cries, rolls over in fear, and refuses to go to school.
"As a mother, I am concerned about how my child is doing following the incident from last Thursday.
"He is usually a happy person," she said, adding that she met the school administration and will take legal action over the incident.
