SHAH ALAM - Selangor Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) is seriously considering finalising its candidates for the state polls that is expected to be held the latest in August.
Its chief Harumaini Omar said the matter was being refined after the party reached an agreement on Sunday.
He said the decision was made after identifying what the Pejuang grassroots and voters wanted, which was for the party to contest several strategic State Legislative Assembly in Selangor in the state election.
"The new approach by Selangor Pejuang is to consider the strength of its meachinery, grassroots support, population demographics and current political developments.
"Besides that, other approaches such as a candidate's criteria and other factors including internal post mortem analysis were carried out," he said in a statement, today.
He stated that Selangor Pejuang rejected rhetorical politics.
"Pejuang will carry pragmatic politics in the agenda of solving the real issues faced by the people," he said.
