SEPANG - Transport Minister Anthony Loke has not received any report of a commotion allegedly caused by a minister at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 yesterday.
However, he believed the airport authorities would conduct a detailed investigation into the incident.
"I have not received any reports regarding the incident. I think the airport authorities will conduct a more detailed investigation into what transpired.
"Of course, safety protocols must be obeyed but whatever it is, we will leave it to the airport authorities as I believe they will make a detailed investigation,” he told reporters at KLIA Terminal 2 today.
Yesterday, a local portal reported the commotion where a minister had purportedly barged into the international arrivals hall to defend a Chinese national barred from entering Malaysia.
The report also quoted a source, revealing that the minister learned about the incident and entered the KLIA arrivals hall without first applying for a pass.
