SHAH ALAM - Selangor DAP leader Rajiv Rishyakaran has asked Muda members to join DAP if they are unhappy with their party for contesting solo in the upcoming elections in six states.
He claimed the Muda leadership was split whether to go solo for the state polls or sticking with its allies in the unity government.
"I am aware the leadership of Muda has been divided on to stick with PH or to contest solo.
"I know it was not an easy decision," he said in his twitter post.
The Bukit Gasing state assemblyman further invited the party members to join DAP if they were unhappy.
This comes after Muda said it will go solo in this upcoming state elections.
The party led by Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman had also applied to be a member of the coalition after the Nov 2022 polls but is has yet receive any reply.
Today in a press conference, the party said it has decided to contest solo.
