"We are pleased to announce that we have reinstated the rider's account," the statement read.

The rider took to TikTok to share the news, revealing that his Grab account had been suspended since Wednesday.

The suspension had prevented him from receiving orders, leaving him feeling persecuted despite not committing any offenses.

In a video posted by TikTok user @matkibot, the rider confirmed that his account had been reactivated following the investigations conducted by the Grab administration.

"The Grab admin conducted an investigation and found me innocent.

"My account has been reactivated. Once again, I would like to express my gratitude to all Malaysians for their support," he said.

The incident occurred on June 16 and was captured in a one-minute-and-41-second video that was later shared on social media.

The footage showed one of the Singaporean men attempting to assault the local rider who was recording the incident.

The enraged Singaporean then approached the victim and demanded the rider delete the recording.

The 44-year-old rider subsequently lodged a police report on the same day the incident took place.
