KUALA LUMPUR - Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has clarified that there were no issues between him and the secretary-general, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.
Muhyiddin expressed his concerns over the use of social media and cybertroopers to tarnish PN's reputation by highlighting such fabricated issues.
"Just like what my deputy president (Bersatu deputy president) said, this is done by those who don't have anything else to attack us with.
"In fact, PN is the most harmonious party. The party in this coalition have no problems with one another. We don't even argue," he told a press conference after chairing PN presidential meeting in its headquarters today.
Recently, rumors began circulating regarding the potential replacement of Hamzah as the Opposition leader in Parliament by PN.
Speaking anonymously, a Bersatu leader informed a local portal that disagreements between Muhyiddin and Hamzah have arisen concerning the party's future direction.
These disagreements allegedly revolve around the party's Opposition narrative and the selection of seats to contest in the upcoming state elections.
