SHAH ALAM - Veteran singer Rohana Jalil has died at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) at 11.33pm, last night. She was 68.
The matter was informed by her manager known as Suzie.
"Kak Ana passed away at 11.33pm, just now,” she told Sinar.
She said Rohana or her real name Dara Abd Jalil was receiving treatment at the hospital for intestinal perforation.
Funeral prayers will be held at the Al-Falah mosque at USJ 9, Subang Jaya, she added.
Previously, it was reported that the "Rayuanku” singer was receiving treatment at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) since March 28 before she was transferred to the high-dependency unit (HDU).
Her youngest daughter, singer Syakila Nisa Jahangir Khan or better known as Kilafairy said her mother was still in critical condition, although her condition had further improved.
