The arrested individual is a 35-year-old senior police officer, and the police have seized her mobile phone to facilitate the investigation.
"The case is being investigated under Section 506, Section 186 of the Penal Code, and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act," he said.

Recently, a female civil servant believed to be a police officer went viral on social media for allegedly insulting a low-ranking police officer in Gombak.
The same woman has now attracted social media attention again for engaging in a verbal altercation with a member of the public at a shopping mall parking lot on Saturday.
A viral video, lasting one minute and thirty seconds, captures the woman scolding an individual, presumably a member of the public, who was attempting to park in a designated parking area.
