SHAH ALAM - Pas Youth Chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari denies claim made by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on the reluctance of opposition MPs to discuss projects in their respective constituencies that have not been approved.
Fadhli in a statement on his Facebook page claimed Perikatan Nasional (PN) MPs were open to discussing such matters with the government.
"I read the statement by PMX (Anwar) as reported in the news. My fellow MPs from PN and I are open.
"Invite us to discuss any projects in our constituencies. It's strange when they say we are reluctant to accept the government's invitation," he said on Sunday.
Yesterday, Anwar revealed that opposition MPs were allegedly still unwilling to accept the government's invitation to discuss unapproved projects in their constituencies.
He said the opposition's current actions are only focused on criticising the government, including accusing the government of being unfair for not approving projects they have proposed.
