Mohamad Sabu in stable condition after operation

SHAH ALAM –Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu has undergone appendicitis surgery on Saturday.

This was shared through an administrator's post on his Facebook who said that the Kota Raja MP's surgery was completed at 4am.

"Alhamdulillah, Datuk Seri was safely operated on at about 4am this morning.

"He is now in a stable condition and is being closely monitored by Putrajaya Hospital medical experts," he said.

He was admitted to Putrajaya Hospital on Thursday to receive treatment for appendicitis.

The ministry, in a statement Thursday night, said that Mohamad had to undergo the surgery following the advice of medical experts.
