KUALA LUMPUR - Arau MP Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim today announces that he is withdrawing himself from the candidacy as the Malaysian Malay Chamber of Commerce (DPMM) president.
Shahidan, also the Perlis DPMM President, stated that the withdrawal was made to benefit the chamber's unity and peace.
"I wish those nominated and appointed to this position the best of luck in carrying the trust." "I will also help them from time to time," he told Sinar Daily on Saturday.
Shahidan said this when he arrived at the Furama Hotel here for the DPMM meeting earlier today.
