KUALA LUMPUR - Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor says she would still imagine how her husband Datuk Seri Najib Razak was when he was the Umno president.
"I still think about how Najib was when he was sitting up there (on stage), thinking about what he would say and what he could do for the Malays and the people in the country.
"He often stares into space and I would ask him what he was thinking about and he would say that he was thinking about what's lacking for the people and what else he can do to improve.
"Even though he is going in a car for a function, he would think of Malaysians and that is my husband," Rosmah said when met by reporters at the World Trade Centre, here, today.
She added that not a day will go by without Najib thinking of the people and the country.
She also thanked all Umno members for showering their support and solidarity for Najib's release from prison.
"I can feel how much Umno members cherish my husband and they hope that Najib can be released as soon as possible.
"They know that my husband did not get a fair trial and it was proven yesterday that they want justice for Najib.
"Thank you to those who have fought for justice not only for Najib but for everyone in the country," she said.
Najib is currently serving his 12-year jail sentence after he was found guilty of misappropriating RM42 million funds belonging to SRC International Sdn Bhd.
