KOTA BHARU - Kelantan Umno describes voting for Perikatan Nasional (PN) in six states during the state polls will be the equivalent of a vote for unemployment.
Information chief Datuk Zawawi Othman said PN was seen as more rhetoric and loose in implementing policies during Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's administration.
"During the time, there was no economic agenda in the matter of the people's welfare.
"The big mistake at the time was implementing the Movement Control Order (MCO) which was described as 'half-baked' and declaring a political emergency in order to protect the party's image.
"Several multinational companies at the time attracted investments worth billions of ringgit out of Malaysia," he said in a statement on Wednesday.
He said the public is reminded not to forget PN's failure in managing political stability as a result of Bersatu and Pas' greed who wanted to be the government and they were willing to use the judiciary to legitimise their actions.
"Voters in the six states involved in elections are asked to choose a government parallel with the central government to ensure the smoothness of all planning from an economic and development point of view.
"Don't toss away your votes for PN," he said.
