KUALA LUMPUR - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim congratulated the Malaysian contingent for successfully achieving their 33-gold-medal target at the 2023 Asean Para Games (APG).

"With three days left before the closing ceremony (on Friday), I believe our athletes will continue to show excellent performances in Cambodia," he said in a post on Twitter yesterday.

The 33rd gold medal was contributed by the solid pairing of Chee Chaoming-Brady Chin in the men's table tennis doubles event (class 9- mild balance disorders) after defeating the Filipino pair Linard Combras- Benedicto Hernandez at the Pingpong Hall, Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. - BERNAMA
