SHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional (PN) seat allocation meeting at the committee level has been concluded but there are still overlapping claims involving several seats that have not been finalised, Sinar has learnt.
A PN source said the meeting, chaired by Pas Deputy President Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man was attended by all PN coalition parties and it went smoothly.
"But it cannot be finalised yet as it needs to be brought to the PN Presidential Council meeting. There is no date set for that meeting yet," the source said asked to comment.
The official source further clarified that the committee for the six states involves 10 members from the four party representatives.
"Not all supreme council members are involved," the source added.
On Sunday, PN Election Director Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said the seat distribution for PN would be finalised by today in preparation for the six state elections.
