SHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional (PN) is expected to announce at least 10 Umno "warlords" who will be joining the coalition before the State Elections.
Bersatu Information Chief Datuk Razali Idris said those involved are prominent figures who have been sidelined by Umno.
"There are... well-known individuals who have been sidelined by Umno. They have voluntarily joined one of the parties in PN, either Pas or Bersatu.
"We will announce it before the state elections," he said when approached by the media at the PN headquarters, today.
He was asked to comment on Umno leaders other than former Selangor Umno chief Tan Sri Noh Omar and former Umno youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin who are expected to join PN.
Two weeks ago, Bersatu information chief Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali confirmed that eight former Umno leaders would be joining the coalition.
He further said that Noh would be joining the coalition and frequently appears on the PN stage to garner support and rally public support for the Selangor state election.
