SHAH ALAM - Debates over Pas being more influential and stronger than Bersatu in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition is a non-issue, says PN Perak Chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu.

He said if it was true, it works in Bersatu’s favour since they were coalition partners in PN anyway.

Faizal had previously addressed the matter back in December after the 15th General Election in an episode of Politically Frank with Sinar Daily, where he said there was no party more dominant as Bersatu and Pas worked together as a team along with Gerakan in Peninsular Malaysia.

Faizal is Bersatu Deputy President and former Perak Menteri Besar. He was Tambun MP but lost to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who won with a 5,328-vote majority.
