KUALA LUMPUR - Datuk Rodzi Md Saad has been appointed as the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (Mampu) director-general, effective today.
Mampu, in a statement, said Rodzi, 59, replaces Datuk Seri Dr Yusof Ismail.
"Rodzi has served in the public service for 33 years and has extensive experience in various fields, including security and disaster management,” the statement read.
He had previously served as National Security Council director-general since July 15, 2021.
Rodzi holds a Master’s degree in Media and Information Warfare Studies from Universiti Teknologi Mara and Bachelor’s degree in Demography and Population Studies from Universiti Malaya.
Mampu also expressed its highest gratitude and thanks to Yusof for his contributions and services to the agency.
Meanwhile, in a separate statement, Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali congratulated Rodzi on his appointment.
"Hopefully, his appointment as Mampu director-general will drive the agency’s excellence in leading the modernisation of public service delivery through innovation and digitalisation,” he said. - BERNAMA
