SHAH ALAM - The Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) is of the view that the LGBT phenomenon is an individual choice, which does not need to be acknowledged by everyone.
Its Segambut chairman Anas Matsham even though MUDA was clearly not supportive of the LGBT agenda, it stands firmly against any form of oppression regardless of religion, race, colour or individual choice.
"Quit connecting LGBT issue to everything. Don't be so shallow as to associate any colour of the rainbow with the LGBT agenda," he said, referring to the brouhaha on the upcoming Coldplay concert to the seizure of rainbow Swatch watches by the Home Ministry.
"Who knows even the rainbow created by God will soon turn into an issue," he added in a statement today
Anas said according to religion, men and women were created by God to be in pairs.
"The same applies from science and biology point of view that recognises gender as male or female. It is human nature," he added.
