JOHOR BAHRU - Sultan of Johor has voiced his concern about the ongoing rumours on the government's stability, even after six months since the 15th General Election (GE15).

Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar said the people had high hopes in the last GE15 and cast their votes for 222 members of parliament to restore the country's political stability.

"However, up until now, these 222 MPs couldn't reach an agreement until there was even a move to destroy the stability built.

"Such a situation is not healthy for all levels of the country, including socially, economically, and internationally.

"That's enough. How much longer will Malaysia's population of over 30 million have to put up with the situation? The economy needs to be restored, and the well-being and prosperity of the country must be prioritised," the ruler said in a Facebook posting today.

Previously, there was speculation about a move to topple the Unity Government, made up of a political coalition between Pakatan Harapan (PH), Barisan Nasional (BN), Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and Parti Warisan (Warisan).
