SHAH ALAM - Former Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) chairman Fauzi Yatim has been sworn in as the new Subang Jaya Mayor today.
The signing of appointment letter was witness by his deputy Mohd Zulkurnain Che Ali and council members at Subang Jaya City Council headquarters.
The 56-year-old was appointed to replace the previous mayor Datuk Johary Anuar who is currently Selangor deputy secretary (Development).
Prior to that, he served as Hulu Selangor district officer from 2015 to 2019 and chief assistant Gombak District officer from 2011 to 2015.
The Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences (Honours) holder from Universiti Sains Malaysia and Diploma in Public Management from National Institute of Public Administration (Intan) had also served in Housing and Local Government Ministry as chief assistant secretary of the Corporate Department.
