KUALA LUMPUR - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim conveyed his condolences to the family of Dewan Da'wah Islamiyah Indonesia (DDII) founder Hardi M. Arifin, who died today.
"The late Pak Hardi I knew built DDII together with Pak Natsir and was also involved in the founding of Universitas Ibnu Khaldun, Bogor.
"I would like to convey my condolences to his family and friends in Indonesia who I am sure will feel the loss of his passing deeply,” he posted on Facebook today.
Hardi, 84, was a Pelajar Islam Indonesia (PII) and Gerakan Pemuda Islam Indonesia (GPII) activist in the 1960s.- BERNAMA
