SHAH ALAM - The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today recorded five areas at Level One caution. .
The department said the areas in the Peninsula were Kubang Pasu in Kedah as well as Tangkak, Johor and Raub, Pahang, while in Sabah, the Nabawan areas was also recorded the same level of caution, as was Mukah in Sarawak
"The hot weather status in level one or alert is issued for the maximum daily temperature of 35 to 37 degrees celsius for at least three consecutive days," the statement read.
