KUALA LUMPUR - Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad tells Perikatan Nasional (PN) not to scare the Malays with its 'green wave' tactics.
The former prime minister, who led the nation for 22 years, said that the government was run by Malay-majority leaders for 60 years and that the country has rapidly developed in that period.
"Even the non-Malays have made progress during this time.
"There is no need to scare the Malay-government by 'scribbling them in green'," he said on his latest Facebook entry.
Pas through PN previously stated that it will remain in power in Kelantan, Terengganu, and Kedah and wishes to take over Selangor, Penang, and Negeri Sembilan next in the upcoming state election.
The green wave in the 15th General Election (GE15) saw PN win all parliamentary seats in Kelantan and Terengganu and only lose one seat in Kedah.
