SHAH ALAM - Former deputy prime minister Tun Musa Hitam successfully underwent brain surgery after a recent fall while gardening, says former Bank Pembangunan chairman Tan Sri Nazir Razak.
Nazir further said Musa's condition was improving and he has been able to maintain his sense of humor, just like before.
"Visiting Musa in the hospital today. He suffered a serious fall while gardening last week and required a brain surgery.
"He (Musa) spent his 89th birthday on an operating table. His recovery process was a miracle so far.
"Musa could joke around again. Let’s all pray that he recovers completely so he can return to golfing and such,” he said in an Istagram post today.
With him was AirAsia boss Tony Fernandes.
