SHAH ALAM - Muda Information chief Luqman Long has confirmed his resignation as Special Tasks Officer (Strategic) to Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh.
He said he had given his resignation notice two weeks ago but did not disclose the reason for his resignation.
"I have informed to resign since the first week of April 2023.
"The one-month notice was known by the office for a while. They were scrambling when I spoke about the open house,” he said in a Twitter post.
Luqman was appointed as the special tasks officer (strategic) to Yeoh in December of last year.
However, he recently courted controversy after criticising Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for holding Raya open house in Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu, instead of at his official residence in Putrajaya.
Sinar Daily has reached out to Yeoh for comments on Luqman's post confirming his resignation.
