KUALA LUMPUR - US Ambassador to Malaysia, Brian McFeeters and his embassy staff extended their Hari Raya Aidilfitri greetings to all Muslims in the country.
In a 52 seconds long video uploaded on the embassy's official twitter page, embassy staff comprising the Local Guard Force, Marine Security Guards, General Services Office, Foreign Commercial Service, Political Economic and Health Sections were seen extending their respective Aidilfitri greetings.
At the end of the video, McFeeters together with his staff from the Executive Office were seen extending Aidilfitri greetings in Bahasa Melayu.
"Bagi pihak warga kerja Kedutaan Amerika Syarikat di Kuala Lumpur, kami mengucapkan selamat hari raya Aidilfitri kepada anda semua dan keluarga.
"Selamat hari raya Aidilfitri, maaf zahir batin," he said.
The United States established diplomatic ties with Malaysia in 1957 following the then Malaya's independence from Britain.
The US is currently Malaysia’s third largest global trade partner and export destination, while Malaysia is the US’ 17th largest trade partner - BERNAMA
