SEREMBAN - Pas Negeri Sembilan is open to accepting any Menteri Besar candidate decided by the Perikatan Nasional (PN) leadership even if the candidate is not from the party.
Its state chief Rafiei Mustapha said their priority is on winning in the next state elections.
"We don't really care who the Menteri Besar candidate is, it is not a big issue as our aim is to win at least 19 seats to rule Negeri Sembilan," he said, adding that he is aware of the 'poster boy' for PN in Negeri Sembilan but refused to reveal further.
Previously, Sinar had reported that PN had finalised their candidates for Menteri Besar or 'poster boy' in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan to face six state elections soon.
Meanwhile, Rafiei said the issue of seats between PN in Negeri Sembilan to face the elections was in its final stages.
"I understand there will be a meeting on April 8 involving party leaders in each state to discuss on seats allocation," he said.
