SHAH ALAM - Business tycoon Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary has issued a statement saying not to associate him with a political party.
"As a businessman who has been doing business for over 40 years in Malaysia, I hope I am not linked to any political party or any organisation that carried the same meaning," he said on Saturday.
It was uncertain whether the statement referred to any news reports or party leaders.
However, his name has been linked with Perikatan Nasional chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's case last week.
