SHAH ALAM - PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli says Perikatan Nasional (PN) is unable to defeat the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition-led states in the upcoming elections as voters among the youths have started to move towards PH.
He said although there were changes in support among the public, it was not significant in states such as Penang, Negeri Sembilan and Selangor.
"The shift happened a lot in Kelantan, Terengganu and the northern states and the percentage of votes swinging towards PN were due to the decline towards Umno votes.
"The current data obtained saw voters especially the youths moving towards PH.
"InsyaAllah our party will win in the upcoming state elections," he said in his closing speech at the PKR Special National Congress at the Malawati Stadium themed "Malaysia Madani: Implementation of an idealism" officiated by the party’s president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Saturday.
Meanwhile PKR vice-president Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the opposition only brought perverse nationalism ideology in the form of fascists against the people which will bring bad justification to the country.
He said the action was similar to racism crimes that existed worldwide.
"They brought the Islamic and green wave, but in reality, it is just the ideology of fascism," he said.
