JEMPOL - Faizah Othman, 52, successfully defended the Jempol Umno division Wanita chief post without a contest in the Umno election for 2023/2026 term, today.
Four other incumbents each for the permanent chairman, deputy permanent chairman and wing deputy chief had won without contest too.
They are Maimon Hassan,58, Wan Kamisah Abdullah, 44, and Sharifah Ghazali, 51.
Jempol Umno Puteri chief candidate Noornasuha Ramli, 33, deafeted to Taman Bahau Umno division Puteri chief Hazratul Ilani Misdar, 34.
The incumbents for Jempol division Puteri permanent chairman Siti Nor Aishah Baharudin, 35, deputy permanent chairman Nurulazma Shafiqah Khairul Azhar, 32 and the deputy chief also won without contesting.
Umno Jempol division election Committee chairman Sulaiman Nordin confirmed the results.
However, the youth wing votes are still being counted. No provocations were reported.
