188 new Covid-19 cases, no new deaths recorded

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia records 188 new Covid-19 cases on Monday with three of them being imported cases.

The Health Ministry, through the KKMNow portal, recorded no deaths due to Covid-19, maintaining the total number of cases at 36,966.

There were 9,211 active Covid-19 cases recorded, with 8,884 or 96.4 per cent undergoing home quarantine.

Another 325 patients were placed in hospitals.

There were two patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU), and both did not need ventilator support.

A total of 181 recoveries were recorded on Monday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,997,801 cases.
