Covid 19: 170 new cases, no deaths recorded

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia records 170 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, with one imported case.

The Health Ministry, through their KKMNow portal, recorded no deaths, maintaining the total number of cases at 36,965.

There were 9,239 active Covid-19 cases recorded, with 8,934 or 96.7 per cent undergoing home quarantine.

Another 301 patients were placed in hospitals.

There were four patients who were placed in the intensive care unit (ICU), and one patient required ventilator support.

The total number of recoveries recorded on Saturday was 178, bringing the total to 4,997,422 cases.
