SHAH ALAM - Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir along with 12 former Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) members have officially joined Parti Bumiputera Perkasa Malaysia (PUTRA) today.
Former Pejuang center executive council member Armin Baniaz Pahamin confirmed the matter on his official Facebook page.
"Our mission and goals are clear, which is to succeed in the struggle to unite the Malays
"The main struggle is uniting Malay parties and organizations.
"Pray that God wil ease the struggle for us ," he wrote in his Facebook post alongside a group photo of the 13.
Armin uploaded a picture where Datuk Seri Khairuddin Abu Hassan was also seen sending the registration form.
Khairuddin best known for being married to actress Datin Seri Umie Aida, he was previousy Federal Territory Pejuang chief and part of its executive council

It was also reported that Dr Mahathir announced his exit from the Pejuang, the party he formed in 2020, along with 12 other members, following the party's decision to cut ties with Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA).
