KUALA TERENGGANU - The negotiations for the division of seats between Terengganu Pakatan Harapan (PH) and BN in facing the state elections will be held soon.
Terengganu PH chairman Datuk Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah Raja Ahmad said official negotiations had yet to take place.
"With the state election nearing a cooperation between BN and PH is important to enable the transfer of power from Pas to the unity government.
"PH and BN have shown an understanding at its base but the official negotiations have yet to take place and is expected to be held soon,” he said in a statement, here on Monday.
The Terengganu Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) chairman said they must realise that BN has much more advantages as it is an experienced party with a wide influence in the state.
He said Terengganu PH is prepared and is open to any discussions to ensure the unity government could be formed in this state.
"All decision on the division of seats will be announced after a final decision is reached among both parties,” he said.
Six states did not dissolve their State Assembly during the 15th General Election (GE15) and will hold their state elections soon, The states are Selangor, Penang, Negeri Sembilan, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu.
