The TikTok owner said in his reposted video, "I hope my video had gone viral and I really hope that police will grab (sic) and punish him accordingly.

"If (the) police have not gotten a hold of him yet, I would like to ask the public who knows the person to DM (direct message) me so I can meet him in person to teach him a lesson on how to respect people and road users.”

The video which went viral on social media garnered many reactions from social media users with most of them expressed their shock over such uncivilised behaviour.

A TikTok user, Deen suggested that if the suspect was captured by the police, he would still be safe as opposed to being caught by the public.

"Seriously, if police got hold of this kid, he is still safe, but if the public did, he better watch out," he said, referring to the public outrage over this.

Another account with username Yong Ros agreed with what had been said by the viral TikToker @syrupboy1.

"That's right, if it knocked on somebody's head, I don't know what to say.

Another user, zulfiqar 01 suggested the TikTok owner to reach out to the person who first posted the video in order to find the culprit.

"Ask the person who made the video, you will surely get the kid," he said.
