TAMBUN - Pakatan Harapan (PH) is ready to consider accepting the dismissed Umno leaders to join the coalition party.

However, PH chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said that the participation needs to get the views of other leaders to maintain the harmony of the Unity Government.

He further said his party has so far not received any requests to join the component parties in PH.

"This is actually an internal decision of each discipline of the party, but there is no invitation so far to join any of the parties.

"If there is, we will look into it deeper and, of course, get the views of other leaders and also maintain harmony, peace, and the Unity Government. We will give wider consideration," he said in a press conference after inaugurating the Tambun Parliamentary People's Service Center at Jalan Meru Bestari A14, Meru Raya , here on Sunday.

On Friday, the media reported that Umno axed former Umno Selangor Chairman Tan Sri Noh Omar and former Umno Youth Chief, Khairy Jamaluddin.

Umno also suspended the membership of several other leaders including Sembrong Member of Parliament who is also the party's former Vice President, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein and former Head of Information, Shahril Sufian Hamdan for six years.
