SHAH ALAM - The investigation paper on the fight between an ex-football coach's two wives at Shah Alam restaurant last Monday will be completed soon.
Shah Alam District Police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said they were recording statements from several witnesses from the scene before submitting it to the Deputy Public Prosecutor for next course of action.
"We will be completing the investigations and will inform as soon as it is completed. We are currently collecting witness statements, hospital references, and such.
"We have called the witnesses who were present at the scene of the incident. Some would be coming with their children and family members," he told Sinar Harian.
It was recently reported that a local former football player, who is in his 50s and was famous in the 1980s and 1990s, tied the knot with a 29-year-old woman.
The woman, who is a local singer, confirmed rumours that she had married the football coach.
Both wives were reported to have fought after they berated each other in an incident at a restaurant here on Monday.
The fight was broken up by members of the public, and both parties had filed their police reports.
