SHAH ALAM – Former Meru assemblyman Dr Abd Rani Osman has died this morning.
He was 85.
The news was shared by Pas Selangor through a Facebook post.
The former Pas Selangor commissioner was reported to have died at the Banting Hospital at 5am, today.
Pas Selangor Ulama Council chief Nushi Mahfodz expressed his condolences to the family of Dr Abd Rani through his Facebook page.
"His death is deeply felt by all of us because of his service and sacrifices to the people of Selangor.
"May his family be strong in facing his death and may he be placed among the righteous," Nushi said.
Dr Abd Rani was Meru assemblyman from 2008 until 2018 before becoming the Pas commissioner in 2011 until 2013.
Before he entered the political arena, he was a doctor and owned a private clinic in Pekan Meru.
