SHAH ALAM - A workshop aimed at empowering Muslim women by focusing on the wellbeing of their mental health will be held on Jan 14 (Saturday).
The workshop called "Building ME: Crafting your essentials” at the Seven Skies International School, Denai Alam which will start at 9am will feature three separate sessions with four honourable speakers curated to help women build their own self-care toolbox.
The workshop organised by Being ME (Muslimah Empowered Malaysia) is a follow-up programme to "Love ME More”, a conference that took place in September, last year which attracted at least 2,000 women, focusing on self-growth and empowerment.
This time, the programme will provide participants with a safe space to share their emotions, struggles, to be their natural self, to start building themselves and empower each other.
The intimate workshop sessions with Che Puan Sarimah Ibrahim, Dr Atiyah Azmi, Ayesha Syahira and Nadrah Mustafa will guide participants to learn more about themselves and help them to create their own toolboxes on managing their spiritual, mental, physical, emotional and social struggles.
They will also get to delve into each dimension and focus on how to cope with day-to-day challenges.
In the workshop, Dr Atiyah will be sharing in depth in regards to what a toolbox is, while Sarimah will be talking about her journey and how her own toolbox has helped her.
Meanwhile, Quran Tag Girl Ayesha Syahira will be focusing on engaging with the Quran and how it could make positive changes to their lives and Nadrah will be probing further into emotions and help participants express themselves through a fresh perspective.
