SHAH ALAM - Sabah BN chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin said he already explained the current political situation of the state to Umno president, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
In a cryptic post to his Facebook account the Kinabatangan member of parliament hinted that there will be an end to the political turmoil soon.
"Held a discussion with the Deputy Prime Minister, and Umno president to inform and explain to him on the current situation Sabah.
"Every beginning will surely have an end. The fight has just begun and the journey is still far and long." he wrote in the post.
Bung also uploaded several pictures of the meeting with Ahmad Zahid.
In the picture, Umno deputy president, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and Umno youth leader, Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki were also visible.
On Friday, Umno and BN withdrew their support for Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor as Sabah Chief Minister.
Bung Moktar said that the decision was made following Hajiji's action which violated the political understanding agreement between in the formation of the Sabah government in the last State Election (PRN).
Meanwhile Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was reported as saying that the situation in Sabah was still calm and under control despite several reports of turmoil from Sabah political leaders.
The PH chairman said he had contacted some of the party's main leaders in the state to get the latest information on the issue and will meet with them when returns from a working visit to Jakarta Indonesia
