SHAH ALAM - Uphold the use of Malay language, residence of Pandan constituency suggested.
This was brought up during the Pandan Town Hall programme at Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ) on Friday.
"In terms of the Malay language, today's session should have been called 'Dialog Awam' based Dewan Bahasa Pustaka instead of Town Hall.
"We should support Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's call to uphold our national language," he said.
Taking into consideration the suggestion, Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli said the next session will be held in three months and will be called ‘Dialog Awam’.
The Pandan Town Hall session, mooted by Rafizi, was aimed to gather suggestions and to listen to the issues faced by the residents.
