Honor Malaysia has announced its new flagship phone, the Honor X9a 5G smartphone that's equipped with the Snapdragon 659 processor.
Honor X9a boasts best-in-class visual performance with the Ultra Tough OLED Curved Display measuring 6.67 inch, arguably the toughest curved edge displays ever.
One of the most inconvenient things about using a curved display on your phone is accidental presses on the screen with your palm.
However, Honor looks to combat this with the implementation of their AI-Mistouch feature aiming to make it a smoother user experience.
The most noticeable feature of the new phone from Honor is the multi-lens back camera arranged in a ring bump with a main camera that features 64MP f/1.8 aperture, along with 5MP f/2.2 wide-angle camera and 2MP f/2.4 macro camera on the sides of the main one. While the front camera of the phone is 16MP with f/2.45 aperture.
It also features a 5100mAh battery which they claim can last for two days and can support 24 hours of Youtube streaming, 19 hours of TikTok browsing, or 11 hours of gaming on a single charge.
With 13GB RAM, 256GB storage, and running on Honor’s latest Magic UI 6.1 operating system, it ensures a robust performance on both productivity and entertainment apps.
All of these features are packed in a slim body that still fits in your pocket and is available in Midnight Black, Titanium Silver, and Emerald Green colours.
The new Honor X9a 5G smartphone will be available for purchase from 6 Jan and the flagship phone is priced at RM1499, making it the most affordable curved display phone according to Honor.
